Fiorisci

This work by Giulia Nardone combines embroidery, text redaction, and a pressed flower on a reclaimed book page.
Through the act of stitching over the text, the artist isolates a single word—“Fiorisci” (“Bloom”)—transforming a page about global crime and corruption into an unexpected space of renewal and quiet resistance.
The contrast between the original printed content and the embroidered message, together with the delicacy of the dried flower, creates a poetic tension where fragility becomes strength and beauty emerges from chaos.
